The views of the Potomac River from the corner rooms are stunning. Parking is a bit pricey at $24 a day. The staff were friendly and very responsive. Restaurant service was quite slow during our visit. a nice experience but some areas could improve.

The bed was comfortable and the room had standard amenities like a coffee maker and fridge. I loved the view of the Ferris wheel and harbor, especially at sunrise. the room felt cramped, and sticky floors were off-putting. The air conditioning was initially broken but was swiftly fixed by attentive staff. Noise from neighboring rooms was disruptive, especially late at night. The bathroom needed more attention; the toilet required cleaning and lacked toilet paper. Breakfast was satisfactory but could be improved.

Our experience at Hyatt Place National Harbor was fantastic! The riverside view from our room and the cozy, modern decor made our stay special. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and the breakfast each morning was delicious. It’s conveniently located near shops and restaurants—definitely a place to revisit!

Breakfast is solid, and the variety means everyone can find something. The views are beautiful, and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful.
The cleaning service fell short, leaving us to wonder if the cleaning staff took a vacation.

Spacious rooms with breathtaking views of the Potomac River. Parking fees are a bit high, which can be frustrating.

No king-size bed available upon arrival, just a cramped room with two queens, which was uncomfortable for my tall husband, especially on our anniversary. The misleading distance to the MGM casino left us driving instead of walking, altering our plans. the staff was exceptional—friendly and eager to assist, especially Antionette in the restaurant. The breakfast was varied and fresh, and the view was lovely. Cleanliness was great, though there were some odd mattress issues and noise levels from the nightlife. A bit of attention to detail could elevate future experiences.

Decisive location—walking distance to key attractions. The breakfast? Excellent, with rotating menu options. Staff members stood out; attentive, friendly, and truly committed to guest satisfaction. Special shout-out to Quinn for exceptional support during a banking issue. Unfortunately, my booked king room was unavailable. The queen beds were cramped for my tall husband, detracting from our anniversary. The misleading distance to the casino disrupted our plans significantly. The sofa bed lacked comfort, with a thin mattress and harsh springs. Limited vegetarian options at the restaurant also proved disappointing. For $550 over two nights, I expected better cleanliness and room conditions. The window stickers and bathroom oversight were unexpected for this price point. I urge management to address these recurring issues.

I was frustrated with the hold on my funds—$614.48 for a security deposit that took days to clear. Plus, the staff was rude, especially a woman named Monica. Total lack of care ruined what should have been a relaxing stay.

clean room, clean hotel with friendly staff and convenient location as I appreciated the warm and welcoming attitude of the staff during my check-in and check-out process.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

The location was fantastic, with plenty of dining options and activities right at the Harbor. The room was clean and comfy, and the breakfast spread was impressive, offering more than just your typical continental options. I appreciated the friendly staff members who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.
There were a few disappointments during our visit. The room we reserved wasn't available, resulting in a less comfortable sleeping situation.

Clean rooms, and really spacious! The breakfast spread was solid, but I’d suggest extending those hours.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for.

I loved staying at a waterfront property with a fitness center, bar, and free WiFi. A perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Bar Harbor served a satisfying meal.
Oh, how I enjoyed walking to a parking garage and losing my ticket. Such a convenient and fun experience!

We were disappointed that there was no valet parking available, and we also didn't like the Chromecast setup in the room. It would have been more convenient to be able to log in to our streaming apps directly. the hardwood floor in our room felt a bit sticky, which made me hesitant to walk around barefoot. On the bright side, the positive aspects of our stay definitely stood out. The staff at the hotel were exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower with readily available shower gel. The key card access for the elevator was a nice touch for added security, and the hotel's restaurant and complimentary breakfast station were excellent. One particular standout moment was when the TV wasn't broadcasting local channels due to contract negotiations on New Year's Eve. Raul, one of the staff members, came to our room and set up Chromecast so we could watch our football game and other shows. It was a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. In terms of amenities, we found the lack of a shuttle service to be a drawback, but we were able to find alternative transportation options. The breakfast offered was average, similar to what you might find at a 2 or 3-star hotel. It would have been nice to have coffee available around the clock rather than just when the kitchen was open. our experience at the Hyatt had its ups and downs, but the exceptional service and clean, comfortable room definitely made it a memorable stay.

I chose Hyatt Place National Harbor for its proximity to the National Children's Museum and was pleasantly surprised by the 24-hour front desk and the bar/lounge where I could quench my thirst after a day of exploring. The buffet and American breakfast options were a delightful start to each morning.
Road noise can be disruptive.
